Alrighty, so I'm just throwing out some basic stuff to ask Becca for the interview:
*How did you first get interested in lighting design?
*When did you start doing theatre tech/lighting design?
*When designing a lighting plot for a show, where do you get your inspiration from?
*How long does it take to actually sit down with the director/whoever else you have to consult with to agree on a lighting design for a show?
*Are there any particular shows that you have seen that really inspired you as a designer? Which ones? Why?
*Do you have a favorite show that you have worked on in the past? If so, why is it your favorite?
*Do you intend to do this professionally in the future?
Just a couple simple ideas to get things started.
Also, I'd love to be there for the interview if possible. Obviously we don't want to overwhelm her with cobras, so if someone else is dying to see the magic happen, go for it. But I just thought I'd throw it out there that I'm interested.
