I love the proposal Holly and that sounds like it would be a perfect design to do! Catalina, I like your idea too, but did you want to draw the scales on the statue or on the dirt next to it? I think it would be illegal to draw them on the statue.....haha Both sound great though!

I am up for helping with setting up the environmental design and my camera is ready to take some pictures of it! Just let me know when we are doing it! :)

Intro to Design

Environmental Design Proposal!

We propose, to go to the “rock garden” in Pogonip and take some of the rocks and put them in the shape of a cobra! Cobra is our add on to the name “Leaps and Bounds.” The rock garden, isn’t really much of a rock garden we just call it that. It’s this weird little spot in Pogonip that can be a little difficult to find, but many people walk by it through out the day, if they choose to go up that trail. It’s this strange place where rocks are stacked on top of rocks, rocks are stacked on top of rocks in trees! Rocks are stacked on top of rocks… on rocks! But I learned, that this is a place where people with GPS go. It’s like a check point. There are weird Barbie heads, and pencils, tampons… The game is, that once you find this check point you are to take something someone else has left, put something new down, and then write about your adventure in getting to the checkpoint. So it’s a crazy place with people from all over the world trying to find it. I believe it’s perfect for an Environmental Design. It’s in a beautiful park and the design will be made with rocks!
